One of the first outdoor preschools in Washington—Field & Forest is a unique and fully outdoor preschool. We are situated on a private, beautiful wooded site in rural Woodinville, Washington, allowing for open-ended play and exploration. Field & Forest Preschool was founded in spring of 2011 and operates on five acres with a mix of grassy meadowland setting, mature Pacific Northwest trees such as Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Maple trees, and a serenely forested ravine that nurtures a tiny creek. Children experience seasonal changes and investigate the plants and creatures who make their home in this richly divergent biome.

Outdoor Classes for Ages 3-5
At Field & Forest Outdoor Preschool in Woodinville, we offer unique classes where children are immersed in nature, the perfect setting to meet their developmental needs as they explore, create, and learn.
We value autonomy, community, and childhood.
Field & Forest inspires children through play & inquiry on our private, wooded property. Children's intrinsic motivation is supported, as well as their sense of self in a supportive community.
September through May, Rain or Shine!
Full year classes allow children to get to know each other and learn deeply and experientially with the rhythms of nature about this place they call home.
